Our Doctrine

1.) The Fundamentals we believe about God-  God is the creator and ruler of the universe.  He eternally exists in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit).  These three are co-equal and are one God (Gen 1:1,26,27; Psa 90:2; Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2).

2.) The Fundamentals we believe about Jesus Christ- Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He is co-equal with the Father.  Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross.  He arose from the dead after three days  to demonstrate His power over sin and death.  He ascended to Heavens glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords ( Matt 1;22,23; Isa 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Heb 4;14,15; 1 Cor 15:3,4; Rom 1:3,4; Acts1:9-11; 1 Tim 6:14,15;

Titus2:13).

3.) The Fundamentals we believe about Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit)- The Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God.  He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ.  He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.  He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.  He gives a believer a spiritual gift when they are saved.  As Christians, we seek to live under his control daily (2 Cor 3:17; JOHN 16:7-13; 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor 2:12; 3:16;  Gal 5:25; Eph 1:13, 5:18).

4.)The Fundamentals we believe about the Bible- The Holy Bible is God's word. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.  It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, and is therefore the truth of God without any mixture of error.  It was inspired in the original manuscripts and due to reasons of textual reliability we believe it was preserved by God's divine Providence (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21; 2 Tim 1:13; Psa 119:105; Prov 30:5; Psa 12:6,7).

  • By the "Holy Bible", we mean the collection of 66 books from Genesis to Revelation.

  • By "Inspired" we mean that the books of the Bible were originally written by men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost in such a way that their writings were supernaturally controlled by God and were free from error as no other writings have been or ever will be "Inspired".

  • By "Preserved By Divine Providence" we mean that God through the ages has, in His divine providence, preserved His complete inerrant Word and conveyed the same to English speaking people through the Authorized King James 1611 translation.

  • By "Textual Reliability" we mean that the underlying New Testament Greek manuscripts used by the King James translators were Superior as they ultimately, in times past, copies of copies in constant use by local assemblies of believers throughout Church History, that underlying Old Testament manuscripts used in the translation were the Masoretic Hebrew Texts copied by and entrusted to the Jews and that both texts were not hidden away but recognized, circulated, and validated by the New Testament Priesthood of Believers traced back to Antioch, Syria where they were first called "Christians".

5.) The Fundamental we believe about the Local Church- We believe the the Local Visible Church of Christ is a voluntary and Independent Autonomous group of Baptized Believers (Matt 18:15-18), that is a pure "Democracy", which can originally join nothing (Rom 12:16), and that has the power and right within itself to confess its own faith in accordance with the New Testament (1 Tim 3:15), and that each congregation recognizes its own democratic self-containing government as its highest authority for carrying out the will of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt 18:15-18; Acts 1:23-26).

  • We believe Baptism by Immersion is an ordinance of the Local Church and that only Saved people are to be baptized as an act of obedience to the Lord (Acts 8:36-39).

  • We believe that the Lord's Supper is an ordinance of the Local Church to saved members only, as a symbol and observance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 11:23-26).

6.) The Fundamentals we believe about Human Beings- Man is the supreme object of God's creation.  He was created by God in complete innocence in a perfect environment, but of his own free will chose to sin against God.  The result of Adam's sin is not only Physical death and Spiritual death (separation from God for eternity) for all mankind, but the fall also endowed upon all mankind a sinful choice, and are unable to regain their former position of innocence, and are under just condemnation without defense or excuse before God (Gen 1:26,27; 2:16,17 Psa 8:3-6; Isa 53:6; Rom 3:23; 5:12; Isa 59:1,2).

7.) The Fundamentals we believe about Salvation- Salvation is God's Free Gift to Us, but we must accept It.  We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.  Only by Trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can Anyone be saved from sin's penalty.  When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved.  Eternal Life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his or her life by Faith (Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8,9; John 1:12; 14:6; Titus 3:5; Gal 3:26; Rom 5:1).

8.) The Fundamentals we believe about Eternal Security- Because God gives us Eternal Life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation eternity.  If you have been genuinely saved , you cannot lose it.  Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by self efforts or human works of the Christian.  Our security rests solely on the grace and keeping power of God (John 10:29; 2 Tim 1:12; Heb 7:25; 10:10,14; 1Peter 1:3-5).

9.) The Fundamentals we believe about Eternity- People were created to exist forever.  We will either exist separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.  To be eternally separated from God in Hell, or to be eternally in union with Him in Heaven.  Heaven and Hell are both real places of eternal existence ( John 3:16; 14:17; Rom 6:23; 8:17,18; Rev 20:15; 1 Cor 2:7-9).

10.) The Fundamentals we believe about the Last Days- We believe in the literal interpretation of the scriptures in their grammatical and historical context.  We believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church Saints, followed by the seven year Tribulation.  We believe in the pre-Millenial return of Jesus Christ to the Earth and his literal rule of one thousand years.  Following this one thousand years is the Great White Throne Judgement and then the New Heaven and New Earth (1 Cor 15: 51-58; 1 Thess 4:13-18; 5:1-9; Rev 19-22).

11.) The Fundamentals we believe about Human Sexuality- We believe that God has commanded that no sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.  We believe that any form of Homosexuality, Lesbianism, Bi-Sexuality, Bestiality, Incest, Fornication, Adultery, and Pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex.  ( Gen 3:16; 19:5,13; Gen 26:8,9; Lev 18: 1-20; Rom 1:26-29; 1 Cor 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess 4:1-8; 5:1-9; Heb 13:4).

12.) The Fundamentals we believe about Abortion- We believe that the human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being.  Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life.  Abortion is, to put it plainly, murder.  We reject any teaching that Abortions due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or the mental well-being of the mother are acceptable ( Job 3:16; Psa 51:5; 139:14-16; Isa 44:24,49; Jer 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44).

13.) The Fundamentals we believe about Separation- We believe that saved people should live in accordance to the standards of the Word of God and abstain from sinful practices, while living among lost people in a sinful world so as to influence them for Jesus Christ

(Phil 2:14-16).

14.) The Fundamentals we belive about World Missions- We believe it is our personal and church responsibility to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world (Matt 28: 18-20).

15.) The Fundamentals we believe about Civil Government- We believe that Civil Government is of devine appointment, for the interests and good order of human society ( Rom 13:1-7), and that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscietiously honored and obeyed ( Matt 22:21), except only in things opposed to conscience, and the Prince of the kings of the earth ( Matt 23:10), and that the church and state should be separate.  The state owing the church protection and full freedom (1 Tim 2:1,2).  No Ecclesiastical group or denomination should be preferred above another by the state (James 4:12).  The state should not impose taxes for the support of any form of religion.  A free church in a free state is the Christian ideal (1 Cor 3:5).  As a church we hold to the absolute final authority of the Holy Bible as the inspired words of God, preserved in the English language in the Authorized version, with no other authority held above it.
