Missionaries:

We are proud to support our missionaries prayerfully and financially.  We have supported these missionaries since Berean Baptist Church was founded in 2011.

   John Honeycutt accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour in 1960 and his wife Cathy in 1971.  John went to Asia as a teen in 1972. This was done because his parents were missionaries with the Bob Hughes family.

            John and Cathy were married in 1975 while attending Baptist Bible College.  They have been in the ministry since 1977.  John  was ordained in 1980.

They have two daughters and one son; all are adults.

            Church Planting - John  and Cathy answered God's calling in 1987 and have planted four churches in Manila, Philippines, one in Hong Kong, China, partnered in the USA in starting two churches, as well as partnering with over 500 National church planters in Asia to establish churches.

            World in Need Baptist Missions sent them to minister the Word of God.

They spend much of their time focusing on ministering to the needs of the Chinese people after "doors" have been open to do so.  They personally plant and partner with National Church Planters.

            Berean Baptist Church is proud to support the Honeycutts as they work to spread the gospel to the people of the Philippines and China.

Serving in Kiribati (pronounced Keereeboss);

Joel and Brooke are missionaries to the island nation of Kiribati, an island nation along the equator in the South Pacific.  The Lord called them to preach the gospel to the 110,000 souls of this island nation.  Cults and traditional churches have reached this island and many like it with their works based salvation.  They have found no one that is willing to preach the Gospel.  Since being in Kiribati they have had their share of trials.  They however have succeeded in planting and chartering an church called Tarawa Baptist Church.

We at Berean Baptist Church are proud to support Joel and Brooke in all they are doing for the Lord in this small island nation.
